The Centre for Newcomers (CFN) and Nation’s Dental (ND) are expanding upon a successful vision care pilot to improve accessibility to preventive oral health services for low-income immigrants and refugees through the operation of a portable dental hygiene clinic. ND will collaboratively provide on-site full scope hygiene care for socioeconomically disadvantaged populations in the newcomer community using the communal space of a trusted establishment. Clients will access multi-faceted resources.
