Managing Partner at Field Law
Farha Salim is the managing partner at Field Law. She has dedicated much of her professional career to supporting charitable organizations and strengthening the nonprofit sector through both volunteer leadership and her legal practice. Farha has been a volunteer with the Calgary Foundation since 2014, where she currently serves on the Advisor Engagement Committee and previously served on the Grants Advisory Committee. Earlier in her career, she served as a Board Member of Dress Your Best (Toronto), a nonprofit organization that helps low-income individuals achieve economic independence through employment support, and as a member of the Advisory Committee for SAIT’s Legal Assistants Program.
In her legal practice, Farha regularly advises charitable organizations and works with individuals and families on planned giving strategies that create lasting charitable impact. Her experience working alongside donors, charities, and community organizations has given her a deep appreciation for the importance of strong governance, collaboration, and stewardship in the nonprofit sector.
Farha holds both a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction (LL.B.) and a Bachelor of Civil Law with Distinction (B.C.L.) from McGill University.
