The second Association of Grantmakers in Alberta Conference provides opportunities for Alberta grantmakers to build relationships, knowledge of community needs and strengthen the impact of grantmaking for the betterment of the communities we all serve. Members are grantmaking organizations, including Community Foundations, United Ways, Private Foundations and Public Funding bodies that collectively support a huge range of community interests such as youth, education, health, arts, environment, equity & social service. We expect a sizeable audience with members from across Alberta.
Sessions will cover topics such as: economic trends, the current policy environment, state of the charitable and nonprofit sector, practical grant making advice for funders, strategic grantmaking, program evaluation and reporting with AI, supporting democratic institutions and civic engagement, funder collaboration and more. This will be a fantastic opportunity for connecting, collaborating and networking with partners from across the province.
