Most of the Calgary Foundation’s awards are for Canadian citizens and permanent residents.

This award is based on hockey and academic performance and open to Calgary residents ages 16 – 18 years old playing hockey in the Calgary Minor Hockey Association – Midget Boys AA, AAA (major), Midget Girls A or AAA. Coaches nominate the most outstanding player on their team.

The recipient is eligible to claim the scholarship funds when entering post-secondary education. The value of this scholarship is $1500.

 

Established to honour the memory of Bradley Hillmo Anderson.

One award valued at approximately $400, applied directly to tuition. The applicant must be:

  • A Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Registered in full-time study and have a minimum 2.75 GPA.
  • Entering any year of study in their first degree or diploma program.
  • Preference given to applicants with sailing experience and who are attending one of the following Calgary post-secondary institutions: Alberta College of Art & Design, Bow Valley College, Mount Royal University, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology, University of Calgary

 

Awarded to an Alberta-based dance teacher who will use funds to further educate themselves as a teacher.
