Major & Signature Grants

As the Calgary Foundation’s assets grow, so does its ability to play a leadership role in advancing local and national charitable initiatives that have significant impact on Calgary and area and positively transform communities. 

These transformational initiatives enrich the lives of citizens, collaboratively find innovative solutions for major issues, and ensure safe and vibrant communities where diverse populations can thrive. 

Major & Signature Grants assist charitable organizations in all parts of the charitable sector by providing grants to support single or multi-year, large-scale charitable initiatives that are broad in scope and transform our community. Grants support local or national initiatives that impact Calgary and area by addressing major issues and encouraging participation in charitable activities from a great number of citizens. See the table below for past grants. 

The deadline for written proposals is noon on November 1 each year. For more information, download the documents below.
